As you can read on the About Me page, I work for a company that spends a good deal of time and money to maintain and improve their online presence. The majority of the designs and content on their sites are the result of my work. I write for both of the company blogs on a regular basis and each of those blogs cover a specific set of topics.
Well from time to time I may end up writing about some of those topics here or cross referencing posts between the sites. With all of that being said, there is still something to keep in mind. This is my Personal site. Let’s repeat that.. This is my PERSONAL site. The opinions expressed on this site/domain are mine alone. They do not reflect the opinions of my employer or any official company stance they may have on any given topic. If you want those official opinions or statements from the company, you should be reading their site(s), not mine.
You may ask why I am posting this disclaimer and it’s very simple. The reason is that there are methods where technically savvy customers of my employer could potentially run across this site when looking at my employers information online. While this is an unlikely scenario, it still could potentially happen and those users need to understand that this isn’t a professional website.
Design/Usability Disclaimer
Now that we got that content B.S. out of the way.. Here’s the disclaimer for the actual readers of this site. I run multiple other sites for my employer where actual business get transacted. Due to this I am limited in the amount of testing I am able to do on those sites. So I will tend to do some of the more off the wall testing idea’s on this site.
So from time to time little design ideas or plugins may change on this site so I can test for the other sites. If you happen to find something that is not working quite right, please feel free to let me know. I will do my best to get it fixed in a timely manner.
